Career Counsel Ltd was set up in 2005 and is managed by Andrew Curtis.
Andy studied law and then legal practice at Bristol University, before completing his training contract with Taylor Joynson Garrett (now Taylor Wessing) in London and joining its employment department on qualification. Andy left TJG in early 2000 to join the London private practice team of global recruiter, Taylor Root, where he spent 3½ years recruiting lawyers for major City and international law firms. In June 2003, Andy returned to Bristol to launch the regional office of another well known national recruiter and he has been successfully recruiting lawyers into the Bristol, Cardiff and South West markets since that time.
Career Counsel Ltd is a corporate member of the Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC) and an organisational member of the Institute of Career Guidance (ICG). Andy is also British Psychological Society (BPS) trained and qualified to carry out psychometric assessments of ability and personality.
